Pino's Family Restaurant

Great when we first got there. Then once order was taken, we sat for over 35 minutes and our meal never did show up. So we left and went to K-Bobs. A whole lot better service.

Okay Google shows this place as a $$ dollar place, in Las Vegas NV two $$ signs generally means you can expect to pay $25 and upwards per person, I had the most expensive item on the menu, a large Coke and when all was said and done I think my total cost was $22-$23, in Las Vegas this place would be a 1 $ place and would get by as some incredible awesome hole in the wall mom and pop restaurant, that was a closely guarded secretFive stars for the food and the staff

The food was mostly tolerable and the service was friendly and attentive. But at least based on our visit, Pino's needs some serious work in the kitchen. We waited close to 45 minutes from our order getting turned in until our food was delivered, and my burrito was delivered 10-15 minutes before my wife's club sandwich (with no explanation other than that "the burrito came out early for some reason"). And after all that, the wrong fries were delivered (ribbon fries instead of regular fries), and the ribbon fries had an off taste as if old stale oil had been used. And the carne adovado in my burrito was overcooked and dry as if it had been sitting for a long time, and it was barely lukewarm by the time it was delivered to our table. Pino's is conveniently located near the interstate and hotels, but come with patience and tempered expectations.
